She looks cute and innocent, but damn is she a pain in the rear. Her mom was a poodle/maltese and her dad was a yorkie/something. She is hypoallergenic so thats a big plus; I'm allergic to dogs. We got her in April and she was only 6 weeks old.

The girls now have their own rooms, and mom and dad have their own bed. yippee.

The biggest improvement has been the light and fresh air. We now have a kitchen window that faces south and a dining window that faces west. So, Part* of the reason that these things are taking longer then they should is because I just cant decide and commit to an idea. There are just way too many options on how to beautify these things.

I made these "gift jars" to use for the washer necklaces that I made for Mothers Day. I forgot to take finished pictures of the project, but I loved how they came out. So simple, yet so unique. My mom says she will be reusing it to hold her nails or safety pins.

All it took was:  

a tea box
 a piece of scrapbook paper
 scissors
 pencil
 paint brush 
and mod podge  






I started by tracing the sides of the tea box on the back of the scrapbook paper. Cut them out. Painted a layer of mod Podge on the box, stuck the paper on and then painted 2 more coats of mod podge over the scrapbook paper.
