We made our Trader Joes gingerbread house on Xmas eve. After taking pictures we let them eat it. Why do gingerbread houses look better then they taste? I've discovered the beauty of nail art. I successfully painted watermelons on the kids and my toes. I thought things were looking pretty good. Do you stick to a specific style when decorating in your home? My Mom and Stepdad are complete opposites. Mom loves her antiques and Traditional furniture and decor, but Stepdad is a contemporary Architect that enjoys his Modern Decor. Can you imagine?! We just completed a very last minute move to a bigger apartment. The girls now have their own rooms, and mom and dad have their own bed. yippee. I made these "gift jars" to use for the washer necklaces that I made for Mothers Day. I forgot to take finished pictures of the project, but I loved how they came out. So simple, yet so unique. My mom says she will be reusing it to hold her nails or safety pins. Mod podge is becoming my drug of choice. Its incredible what a little scrapbook paper and mod podge can do.

My knick-knack rack needed to be prettied up a bit. All it took was:  a tea box a piece of scrapbook paper scissors pencil paint brush  and mod podge  I started by tracing the sides of the tea box on the back of the scrapbook paper. Cut them out. Painted a layer of mod Podge on the box, stuck the paper on and then painted 2 more coats of mod podge over the scrapbook paper.

It's Review Wednesday!  I just tried a few squirts of JuneBug's California Baby super sensitive everyday lotion. WOW! I tried it out on my newly shaved legs and my goodness. HEAVEN.
